We Must Go: Tribute to Ashley

I know this girl named Ashley.  She's one of my closest and most cherished friends; we went to college together and she is still one of the first people I turn to whenever I need advice, someone to vent with, giggle with, comfort or support.  And Ashley is wonderful.  I have a lot of really amazing, wonderful friends, actually.  But tonight I'm singling her out because she recently wrote a really inspiring and thought-provoking piece on her blog which I wanted to share here.

One of my favorite things about our friendship is that Ashley is Christian and I am Baha'i, but our religions have never "gotten in the way" of our tight kinship.  In fact, I would say they've brought us even closer together.  We each respect each other immensely, and have found so much overlap in our beliefs.

Proof that at times people draw imaginary lines in the sand, dividing lines, based on nothing. Perceived notions of "different" and "better" and "compatible" or "incompatible".  Anyway, I've learned a lot from her over the past few years, so I'm excited to share a bit of her beautiful soul with you all.  Here's her entry.  Do yourselves a favor and read it.
